A light strategy competitive tile-laying game where players become master Fountaineers working to build a magnificent fountain in the city of Florimelle.

Design a magnificent water feature for the city of Florimelle in Fountains. Each player begins with a round fountain containing a central spout and space for additional features. Moving one of three coloured basin pawns around the shared board determines which tile or small feature can be taken and added to the developing personal fountain.

Tiles may extend the fountain outward, upward or in both directions, but water must continue flowing through every lower level and the highest level needs a spout. Poorly connected sections become dead zones that do not score. Landing a basin pawn on its matching coloured space triggers scoring for associated elements such as lily pads, connected pools and fish, rewarding well planned vertical construction.

Because occupied spaces are skipped, each pawn movement changes the choices available to later players. Fish appear in three colours, and the player triggering their score chooses which colour is counted, creating useful timing decisions. When the score threshold is reached, all three categories score again before coins and complete fish sets provide final bonuses.
