The new Syzygy Ancient One centres the investigation on an approaching alignment of planets and stars. Mystic Ruins Encounters introduce multi-stage tests at specific monuments, while Adventure Cards create a connected four-stage side story that can retreat Doom or advance the active Mystery.

Four new investigators join the fight alongside additional encounters, monsters, spells, assets and Prelude Cards. The Eldritch Horror base game is required to play.
