Create luminous palace windows in Azul Stained Glass of Sintra. King Manuel I has commissioned Portugal’s finest artisans to adorn the Royal Palace of Sintra, and each player must draft translucent pane pieces before placing them into a changing arrangement of window patterns.
Factory Displays supply the coloured glass available each round. Players select a colour and use a glazier to complete sections of their palace, balancing immediate scoring against the risk of damaged or wasted material. Double-sided pattern strips and palace boards make the personal puzzle dynamic, while the position of the glazier affects which windows can be worked on efficiently.
Completed window sections score through their placement and the round’s featured colour, encouraging players to time projects rather than simply finish the first available pattern. A Glass Tower collects discarded panes and keeps the shared supply organised. Although part of the Azul series, Stained Glass of Sintra is a complete standalone game and does not require the original Azul.
