The War on Cybertron has raged for millennia. Autobots and Decepticons clash with blaster and robotic fists to determine the fate of the galaxy. As their battle reaches its climax, one shall stand, one shall fall. Take on the role of one of the Autobots or Decepticons. Travel across the battlefield and convert between your different modes to gain allies, find relics, and acquire technology to battle your enemies. As you grow stronger, tougher challengers will rise up to meet you!

Return to Cybertron for the final struggle between Autobots and Decepticons in the War on Cybertron expansion for the Transformers Deck Building Game. Choose a character from either faction, convert between modes and move across a changing battlefield where allies, technology and dangerous enemies wait among the cards.

The play area is built as a matrix rather than a conventional market row. Moving through that grid reveals opportunities to recruit allies, acquire manoeuvres and technology, recover relics or confront adversaries. As each deck grows stronger, missions and bosses demand better combinations and closer cooperation.

War on Cybertron supports competitive team against team games as well as solo and cooperative play. More than 175 cards, eight character standees and a full supply of tokens and Energon cubes make this a self contained experience, while its deck building systems remain part of the wider Transformers game line.

This is a standalone expansion. It can be played on its own and does not require the Transformers Deck Building Game base set.
