Take your first steps into the expandable battles of Valhalla with Heroscape Battle for the Wellspring. This self contained Battle Box stages a clash over one of the mystical wellsprings, where three dangerous pirates attempt an ambush and an unlikely group of scouts stands in their way.
Two players assemble a battlefield from interlocking hex terrain, position detailed miniatures and use Order Markers to plan which Army Cards will activate. Movement, elevation, attack range and terrain placement all influence the fight, while combat dice resolve attacks and defence. Four included scenarios provide structured battles for learning and replay.
The set introduces six fully assembled unpainted miniatures, including three pirates, a wizard and two familiars. Thirty one locking terrain pieces, two Laur Jungle trees and a new Wellspring water tile type create a compact three dimensional battlefield. Everything needed for the included scenarios is supplied, and all components remain compatible with earlier and future Heroscape releases.
