Bonsai Board Game

Create a miniature living masterpiece in Bonsai, a peaceful strategy game about carefully cultivating a beautiful tree. Draft useful resources, expand your creation one tile at a time and make thoughtful decisions as you compete for the honour of displaying your bonsai in the Imperial Gardens.

Each turn offers a choice between meditating to collect a card and its accompanying tiles or cultivating to place tiles from your personal supply. Cards gradually improve your growing abilities, allowing you to shape a larger and more rewarding tree as the game progresses.

Complete public goals to earn points, but choose carefully: you can claim an available reward immediately or pass it by and attempt a more challenging goal. Every completed bonsai develops differently, creating an attractive centrepiece while testing your planning and spatial awareness.

• Two Simple Actions: Choose between gathering resources and adding tiles to your growing bonsai
• Open Card Drafting: Select useful cards and collect the tiles displayed beneath them
• Personal Tree Design: Arrange wood, leaves, flowers and fruit to create a unique miniature tree
• Developing Abilities: Use Growth cards to place more tiles during future cultivation actions
• Risk and Reward Goals: Claim an achievable objective or pursue a more valuable challenge
• Dedicated Solo Mode: Play additional scenarios and test your skills against the Emperor Challenge
