The family game of tiles and tactics! SetUp is an innovative new title in the rummy genre with sets in all directions. Players combine familiar suits and numbers on the boards, scoring points, to reach the finish first. A simple game of maximising tile placement while trying to avoid gifting your opponent(s) points. As the tiles stack, combinations you're planning could be unwittingly spoilt by your opponent(s)!
SETUP is a family tile placement game that gives classic rummy style set building a clever board game twist.
Players combine numbered tiles by matching the same value across different suits or creating sequences in the same suit. Place tiles onto the board to make sets, score points and move along the track towards the finish. The more tiles you connect into valid sets, the more points you score.
The challenge is that every tile placement can help or hurt other players. Your carefully planned sequence might be covered before your next turn, or an opponent might accidentally create bonus points for you by using your personal bonus spaces. Simple to learn but full of tactical choices, SETUP is a strong family board game for players who enjoy rummy, tile placement, set collection and light strategy.
